Evaluation Method
There will be two open-book exams: a midterm (40%) and a final (50%). The remaining 10% will be based on participation.

Midterm. The midterm will be distributed (via Canvas) at 2:30 pm on March 17, 2021 and must be returned by 4:00 pm on March 17, 2021. Please email your exam to Kolten Ellis (koltenellis@wustl.edu) AND Emily Fox (emilykfox@wustl.edu), and cc Prof. Epstein (epstein@wustl.edu)

Final. The final will be distributed (via Canvas) at 3:30 pm on May 11, 2021 and and must be returned by 5:40 pm on May 11, 2021. Please email your exam to Kolten Ellis (koltenellis@wustl.edu) AND Emily Fox (emilykfox@wustl.edu), and cc Prof. Epstein (epstein@wustl.edu)

Participation. Students should attend class and come prepared to discuss the assigned materials.

Calculation of Grades
Grades on the exams will be in percentages (e.g., 92%, 85%, etc.). To convert the percentages to letter grades, use the following:

97 and above: A+
93-96: A
90-92: A-
87-89: B+
83-86: B
80-82: B-
77-79: C+
73-76: C
70-72: C-
67-69: D+
63-66: D
60-62: D-
59 and below: F
