U.S. Constitutional Law

1. Description This course provides an introduction to U.S. constitutional law. Topics covered include approaches to constitutional interpretation, the theory and practice of judicial review, the separation of powers, and an introduction to the Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection and due process clauses.

4. Evaluation Method. I'll base your grade on (1) a take-home exam (80%) distributed at the end of the course and due back to me by June 18, 2017 and (2) class participation/attendance (20%).
